The Project Competition: 6 Months of Agricultural Innovation and Excellence

After receiving grants, the journey of challenge and creativity begins. Compete to achieve the best performance and win a grand prize that celebrates your efforts.

A Journey Towards Agricultural Excellence

After the financial grants are distributed to the 20 winners, the most exciting phase of the project begins: a six-month competition aimed at identifying the most outstanding hydroponic and aeroponic agricultural models across Syria.

Key Details:

Project Duration

1- Project Duration:

6 months starting immediately after grants are awarded to winners.

Main Objective

2- Main Objective:

Identify the best project among the 20 winners, based on precise performance and innovation metrics.

How Will Your Project Be Evaluated?

To ensure fair and comprehensive evaluation, project performance will be measured based on three main axes, reflecting success, innovation, and sustainability

Productivity:

Metric: Quantity and quality of crops produced (e.g., kg/m²).

The project’s efficiency in producing the largest quantity of crops with the highest possible quality within the allocated area will be evaluated, taking into account the overall health of the plants and the quality of the final product.

Engineering Efficiency:

Metric: Water and energy savings, and the overall quality of the system’s design.

Evaluating the system’s effectiveness in reducing resource consumption (water and energy), in addition to design durability, ease of maintenance, and innovation in using recycled materials or local components.

Innovation:

Metric: Use of creative solutions in recycling, resource management, or overcoming local challenges.

Assessing the degree of creativity in applying technologies or developing unique solutions to challenges faced by projects in the Syrian environment, contributing to finding more sustainable and effective methods.
