Monitoring & Evaluation: Ensuring the Project’s Success and Impact

Through precise mechanisms, we ensure transparency and accountability and measure progress towards achieving our sustainable goals.

Precise Follow-up for Tangible Results

We believe that measuring performance and documenting achievements are vital for the success of any ambitious project.

Therefore, we have established rigorous monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to ensure the highest levels of transparency and effectiveness at every stage of the National Project.

Continuous Follow-up: The Pulse of the Projects

Key Monitoring Methods:

Monthly Field Visits

1- Monthly Field Visits:

The technical support team conducts monthly field visits to all winning projects to assess progress, provide technical advice, and identify any challenges faced by the teams on the ground.

Periodic Reports from Winners

2- Periodic Reports from Winners:

Winners are required to submit detailed reports every two months including updates on productivity, resource consumption, resolved issues, and lessons learned.

Technical Communication Platform

3- Technical Communication Platform:

Providing continuous communication channels (such as chat groups or a support ticket system) to enable winners to ask questions and receive assistance quickly.

Performance Evaluation: Measuring Real Impact

The evaluation process includes two main stages to ensure a comprehensive and fair assessment of project performance and its impact.

Initial Evaluation for Winner Selection:

Based on pre-defined criteria by the specialized jury (as detailed on the Application Requirements page) to ensure the selection of promising projects.

Final Evaluation After Six Months

After the six-month competition period, a comprehensive evaluation of all winning projects is conducted based on:

– Productivity: Quantity and quality of crops.
-Engineering Efficiency: Water and energy savings, and design quality.
– Innovation: Use of creative solutions.

Sharing Success Stories and Lessons Learned

Transparency and knowledge sharing are a fundamental part of our commitment. Therefore, all project stages and results will be systematically documented.

Key Documentation Activities:

Publishing Periodic Reports on the Website: Regular updates on project progress, statistics, and key achievements will be made available to the public.
Producing Documentary Videos on Successful Projects: Highlighting inspiring stories of winners, and showcasing outstanding projects as practical examples of sustainable agriculture in Syria.
Reducing reliance on imported components: By seeking local alternatives and encouraging innovation in local manufacturing.

Sustainable Growth Built on Data

Through these comprehensive monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, we aim to foster trust among all stakeholders, continuously improve project performance, and ensure maximum positive impact on communities and the environment in Syria.
